About the event
The little village of Ashley, Michigan is transformed into the North Pole as the destination for the "North Pole Express" train. This legendary steam train from 1942 is the actual 1225 steam engine that was used to model the train used in the 2004 Warner Brothers movie "The Polar Express", starring Tom Hanks. The train steams into Ashley five times each weekend starting November 20th, 2026 until December 20, 2026. You will get to be there when the train arrives to greet the vintage rail cars loaded with up to 1000 passengers as they relive the movie experience. As a guest of the village, our bus tour will provide you with a special all-access pass to enjoy all the entertainment venues and activities going on during the event. You will meet Santa and see the live reindeer, as well as shop and eat at the many locations throughout the village.…
