About the event
The little village of Ashley, Michigan is transformed each year into the North Pole, as the destination for the "North Pole Express" train.
This legendary steam train from 1941 is the actual 1225 steam engine used to model the train appearing in the 2004 Warner Brothers movie "The Polar Express". "The Polar Express" has a Michigan connection, as it makes stops in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the film.
The locomotive steams into Ashley five times each weekend starting November 20th, 2026, until December 20, 2026.
You will be downtown when the train arrives, to greet the vintage rail cars loaded with up to 1000 passengers eager to enjoy the village with you.

56 Passenger Group - Deposit
This is the 50% Deposit due at signup. The remaining 50% ($2062.50) is due 30 days before the event. This ticket includes 55 paid seats and one free seat for your group chaperone. Your group chaperone also receives a one-time cash stipend for being your chaperone. You must purchase the 50% balance ticket for the 56 Passenger Tour 30 days before the bus tour. If you are purchasing this ticket within 30 days of the event, you will need to purchase the 56 Passenger Tour- full pay ticket instead.

This is the remaining 50% ($2062.50) balance due 30 days before the event. This ticket includes 55 paid seats and one free seat for your group chaperone. Your group chaperone also receives a one-time cash stipend for being the chaperone. This balance is due 30 days before the bus tour. You cannot purchase this ticket unless you have purchased the 56 Passenger Tour- Deposit ticket previously.
